Who we are

We are a team of professionals specialising in company registration issues. As well as experts in legal and technical issues of company registration, we have experienced senior managers familiar with the practicalities of developing and running a registry. We are therefore exceptionally placed to assess the needs of any particular jurisdiction.

David Durham, Chairman

David Durham Following distinguished service in the Army, with the Royal Engineers, including work on bomb disposal and helicopters, David Durham spent a period in local government and hospital management.  In 1990 he was appointed Chief Executive of Companies House and Registrar of Companies in England and Wales, a position he held until the end of his contract in 1996. During this time, he introduced a wide range of new electronic facilities and customer services, resulting in one of the first Charter Marks awarded by Prime Minister John Major for outstanding customer service.

He now has his own management consultancy, which has operated in China and the Caribbean, and is also International, Development and Personnel Adviser to the London Law Agency Limited, a company specialising in company registration, legal and information services. He is active on the European scene and has lectured in North America and the Far East. He has also served as Chairman of the Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust, the third largest National Heath Service trust in the United Kingdom.

David Walke, Director

David WalkeAfter working in the Department of Trade and Industry in London and South Wales, from 1983 to 2001 David Walke held a series of senior management positions in Companies House, including responsibility for improving compliance with filing requirements through new computer systems, an education programme with direct mail, roadshows for company directors, media advertising, publicity, video presentations and a range of guidance material.  He also implemented the concept of 'shuttle' annual returns and introduced digital image technology for the storage of statutory documents.  

From 1996 onwards, he was Head of International Advisory Services and led project teams advising the governments of Russia and Ukraine on company registration and access to company information. He was responsible for the organisation of the third annual conference of the Commerce Registers of Europe, which was held in Cardiff in October 2000 and attended by representatives of over 30 countries.

The directors are supported by teams of legal and technical advisers, ensuring that they are able to deal with the full range of issues concerning government administrators and registry managers.
