The Danish Commerce and Companies Agency, an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, registers public and private limited companies, commercial foundations, European Economic Interest Groupings, financial institutions (banks and insurance companies), co-operative societies, partnerships, commercial associations and a number of other enterprises with limited liability.  There are approximately 100,000 active companies.

 

Company information, including reports and annual accounts, is made available to the public via an on-line Information System operated by Publi-com, a self-financed company of the DCCA.  The requested product is delivered to the user via fax or mail.  Publi-com operates in Danish.
