Registration of companies

Anguilla operates an on-line registration service which is accessed by registered agents in Anguilla and overseas.  Almost all registrations are handled via this system.

Companies must be incorporated through an agent licensed under the Company Management Ordinance.

Anguilla has a range of legislation covering both local and offshore businesses, including

• The Companies Act and Regulations
• The International Business Companies Act and Regulations
• The Limited Liability Company Act and Regulations
• The Limited Partnership Act and Rules

Types of business

Anguilla has three types of companies:

• The Ordinary Company
• The International Business Company
• The Limited Liability Company

The legislation also provides for limited partnerships and trusts.
